The department’s courses blend a traditional curriculum with hands-on learning and experiences through collaboration with fellow students, faculty and industry professionals. Through their coursework, students are also actively involved in service learning projects working with “real world” clients and becoming a significant part of local and regional projects. Our students do it all—from producing their own broadcasts, print materials, and television programs to joining faculty at national professional conventions.
