Forensic Science Curriculum and Coursework
Within the Bachelor’s of Science in Forensic Science degree offering, you can choose from three concentration options and courses in a wide range of subjects:

Coursework

Criminal justice courses introduce you to the local, state, and federal justice system. 

Digital evidence courses involve you in investigating crimes that leave evidence in computer systems. 

Forensic anthropology courses teach you about human identification, the effects of decomposition on the human body, and injury to the human skeleton.

Forensic biology courses show you how to identify human biological evidence using serological and DNA analysis techniques. 

Forensic chemistry courses show you how to apply analytical chemistry to facts of legal significance, including analysis of hair, fibers, drugs, and explosives. 

Forensic psychology courses demonstrate how you can use psychological principles and technologies to help the court answer various legal questions like competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, and violent risk assessment.
