Biography:

I am a clinical supervisor and help teach one of the clinical practicum classes. I received my B.S. from WCU in Recreational Therapy in 1998 and my M.S. from WCU in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2005. Post-graduation I began working for a private company based out of Asheville, NC serving preschool-age children with speech and language delays.

A couple of years ago I began working at WCU as an adjunct professor supervising graduate students in preschool settings, as well as serving school-age children in one of our local elementary schools.  This year I became a co-sponsor for our NSSLHA organization.  I am very excited to work with students in this capacity.

When I am not working, I spend time with my family and run with a local running group called the Mountain Milers. We train for short and long distance races, but mostly just run for the fun of it.
