Biography:

I received my undergrad in Communication Disorders from WCU in 1997. I then went to graduate school at The University of Tennessee-Knoxville for a Master’s in Audiology. I completed my clinical doctorate in August 2002 from The University of Florida.

I teach the “Introduction to Audiology” class, provide hearing screening opportunities for students, perform diagnostics and hearing aid fittings/orientation in the clinic and travel across the seven westernmost counties in North Carolina testing children’s hearing.

One of the most interesting aspects of my job is being involved in student recruitment! Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding our program at Western Carolina.

In my time away from work I enjoy spending time with my family and reading. Western is a great campus located in a beautiful area of Western North Carolina. Come see what we have to offer!
